Conor Burke is back with new developments to his theatrical repertoire, and is now looking to develop his own theatre company after the recent success of his latest play.

With critics finding themselves 'truly captivated' by the end of the 'desperately moving' performance (CUB and LONDON PUB THEATRES reviews), 'Sophie, Ben and other problems' ranked on average 3.5 stars, an incredible feat for a student playwright.

The play was performed at The Lion and Unicorn Theatre in Kentish Town, towards the end of last October.

On December 3rd, Burke updated his Facebook status with a big announcement that he'd 'only gone and set up his own theatre company'.

Aptly titled 'BINGE THEATRE', the new company aims to 'produce relevant (yet irreverent), contemporary (but classic), pleasant (though provocative) performances by the people of today who yearn for a better, more colourful, tomorrow', according to the new Facebook page set up by Burke, that has already racked up over 70 likes.

When asked for a comment, Burke said: "I am absolutely thrilled. As I am getting ready to graduate, I feel like now is the perfect time to do it. Binge is committed to making theatre that speaks to as broad a base of people as possible, and I'm just so excited about it. I think it's the start of a new creative journey for me, which can only be a good thing."

Claiming to be 'over the moon' with the development, Burke told friends, family and BINGE fans that a new production is on its way already.

More updates coming soon!
